ASHE National

“The mission of the American Society of Highway Engineers is to provide a forum for members and partners of the highway industry to promote a safe, efficient and sustainable transportation system through education, innovation and fellowship.”

The local Section/Region is the most important element for ASHE to satisfy the goals of our Mission Statement. While some uniformity in Section/Region operations is essential, membership and custom difference between Sections/Regions are recognized. These become the strength of ASHE.

ASHE-CTX History

The Central Texas Section is chartering as a new Section June 8, 2021 after more than a year in planning, networking, and development.

The CTX Board of Directors has been established. These individuals, in partnership with the ASHE National New Sections Committee, are leading the growth of the Section. A copy of our bylaws can be found here.

The CTX Section is within the ASHE Southwest Region and will be joining already established Texas Sections in Houston and Dallas / Fort Worth.

Membership Benefits

The primary benefit of belonging to ASHE is the opportunity to grow technically and professionally. ASHE provides a forum to interact with one’s peers in the transportation industry while working together to help solve common problems and discuss pertinent issues.

Within ASHE, we pride ourselves in being a premier networking organization. Members can expect opportunities to meet and develop lifelong friendships professionally and personally.

We achieve this through regular Section meetings, PDH presentations, community involvement, and leadership growth positions within the Board of Directors and Committees.

Connecting with other professional consultants, clients, contractors, and manufacturers is part of the casual, every day life of being involved in ASHE. We would love to welcome you into the ASHE family.

ASHE Members receive discounts on meeting and event fees, receive the ASHE National Scanner magazine, and have opportunities to be involved at various levels of the organization.
